Take the wheel and discover how you can spruce up a modern interior with your own handspun creations. Punch needling is going through a marvelous revival. We speak to Arounna of Bookhou about her fascination with this craft.
In Issue 4 we explore our dark side. Discover gloomy colors to brighten your home. Prepare your own winter stills and muse about your next master piece. We introduce our hand dyed yarns that are just perfect for weaving. Marvel at the work of fiber masters from Germany, France, Australia, the US and the Netherlands who are making waves globally. All you need really to get into a festive mood.
In Issue 3 we pay tribute to the beauty of Danish furniture and its perfect fit with yarn crafting, go monochrome in our designs and collaborate with talented fiber artists such as Alise Anderson, Veselka Bukan and Mrs. Novo to bring you new yarn trends and ideas for the summer. Expect a global tour of our favorite yarn crafters’ studios and many more exciting new stories for you to discover.
Issue 2 is all about using daringly colorful yarns in your home decor. We take a daring move to introduce some neons into our designs (yes, neons!), experimented with hand dyeing our own yarns (which we will teach you how) and talked to some giants in the industry like Karen Barbé, Arounna Khounnoraj and Hermine Van Dijck. We will also give you a visual feast of spaces that are embracing the yarn movement and the koel-est concept shops around.
