ACCOUNT

How do I retrieve my password?
Please visit the Log In page under the Menu icon and tap Forget Password. You will be prompted to type in your email address and subsequently an email will be sent to your inbox to change your password. You will then need to use the new password to log in to your account.

How do I log in to the app?
Tap on the Menu icon at the top right of the Home Screen, select Account and then Log In.

I’m a KOEL print subscriber. Do I get free access to digital issues?
KOEL print subscribers do not get free access to digital issues. You will have to purchase and subscribe to digital issues separately. To purchase or subscribe to digital issues, select All Issues bottom of the Home Screen or tap on Subscribe under Account in the Menu icon at the top right of the Home Screen.

Termination of Account
For termination of account, you will need to provide us a 30 days’ prior notice by email to contact@koel-magazine.com with full subscriber details including name, address, reason for termination and date of termination. We do not refund any amounts already paid for digital issues or subscriptions.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

How do I purchase a subscription in-app?
To purchase a subscription, select the Menu icon top right of the Home Screen, tap on Account and then Subscribe. You’ll be able to choose a subscription package of 3 issues or 6 issues.

How do I purchase a single issue in-app?
To purchase individual issues, select All Issues at the bottom of the Home Screen and choose the magazine you would like to buy. There will also be an option for you to subscribe if you wish to opt for the subscription package.

How do I access my purchases?
Select the Menu button top right of the Home Screen and tap on Purchases. You’ll be able to see all individual issues or subscriptions you have purchased. Tap on the Download button for each issue/subscription you purchased for them to automatically appear in your Downloads page, where you can access and read them offline.

How do I download an issue to read offline?
All issues or subscriptions that you have downloaded in Purchases will appear in Downloads, which will automatically be available to read offline.

How do I delete an issue?
Deleting of issues can be done in Downloads. Select Downloads under the Menu icon top right of the Home Screen, then tap on the delete icon found on each issue to remove it from Downloads. This will not remove issues from your Purchases.

How do I get restore deleted issues? 
To restore deleted issues, go to Purchases page and tap on the Download button for the issue that you would like to restore. 

How to get existing purchases on my new device?
We recommend users to download the app on your new device rather than sync from a backup.

After downloading the app, remember to sign in using the same email address and password originally used with the KOEL app. Your purchases will be automatically restored once you have logged in. 

How do I navigate through the issue?
To access the articles, tap on Downloads bottom right of the Home Page to access all issues purchased.

Select the magazine you would like to read. Swipe left or right to read the articles. You can also swipe to the Contents page and click on page numbers to navigate to specific pages.

You can bookmark articles by using the bookmark icon found on every article. This will be saved under Bookmarks, found under the Menu icon top right of the screen.

How do I renew my subscription once it has ended?
Once you have received all issues in your subscription, you can choose to purchase another subscription package to continue the subscription.

How do I restore purchases?
Your purchases will be automatically restored once you have logged in on your new device using the same email address and password originally used with the KOEL app.

Why are there ads?
The production cost of an application is high and we want to keep subscription fees low for our readers. Advertising revenue helps us with that.

BILLING
What payment mode do you accept?
Payment is via iTunes for iPhone and Google Play for Android.

GENERAL
What should I do if the application or articles keeps crashing or are not loading?

1) Close the applications by pressing the home button of your device. Make sure you quit the app by swiping away the window where the app appears in.

2) Launch the app again.

3) If the same problem persists, please send us an email at contact@koel-magazine.com for further assistance.

The latest issue of the publication isn’t showing up in my app. Where is it?
This happens sometimes when the app is not refreshed.

1) Close the application by pressing the home button of your device. Make sure you quit the app by swiping away the window where the app appears in.

2) Launch the app again.

Are all patterns free of charge?
Not all patterns are free of charge. To find out which patterns are free and which patterns require purchase, select Patterns found on the bottom of the Home Screen. Here, you’ll be able to see an option of Free and Purchase on the top of the screen. Your purchased patterns will appear in your Purchases page, found under the Menu icon top right of the screen.

What other formats of KOEL Magazine are available?
KOEL Magazine is available in both print and digital. To get a physical copy of our magazines, access our store locator here!

How many devices can I log in with concurrently if I subscribe to a package?
You can log in with up to four concurrent iOS or Android devices.

Can I access and read articles if I’m not connected to a Wi-Fi network and don’t have cellular coverage?
Purchases that appear in your Downloads page will automatically be available to read offline. To access Downloads, tap on the Menu icon top right of the Home Screen and select Downloads.

How do I turn on or stop receive push notifications?
To turn on or stop receiving notifications from the app, tap on the Menu icon top right of the Home Screen and select General. You’ll find an option to turn on or stop notifications.

How do I save an article or pattern to read again later?
We have a bookmark option available. The Bookmark icon can be found on every article next to the title. All bookmarks will be saved to your Bookmarks page. To access your Bookmarks, tap on the Menu icon top right of the screen and select Bookmarks.
