SHORT EXPLANATION

Half Spiral Knot

This stitch creates a unique textured fabric with a slight slant resembling the herringbone pattern. a variation of the traditional double crochet stitch but with a twist.

Step 1: Make Foundation Chain : start by making a slip knot and crocheting a foundation chain of the desired length. The number of chains should match the width of your project.

Step 2: Yarn Over : yarn over your hook.

Step 3: Insert Hook : insert your crochet hook into the fourth chain from the hook. This is your starting point for the double crochet stitch. Alternatively, if your pattern specifies a different starting point, follow the pattern instructions.
