Needlework Stitches: Satin Stitch


1. For regular shapes, bring your needle up at the corner of your shape and work towards the other end. For irregular shapes, bring your needle up in the middle of the shape (point A) and work towards one end, back to the centre and then to the other end.

2. Bring your needle up at point A, and down at point B.

3. Bring your needle up right next to point A and down right next to point B. Try to place your stitches as close to each other as possible.

4. Continue stitching until you fill the entire shape.
