1. Going from left to right, bring the left most yarn over the 2 centre yarns (anchor cords) and under the right most yarn.

2. Moving back to the left, bring the right most yarn under the anchor cords and through the loop formed by the left most cord. Pull on both ends to tighten knot. You will get a half knot.

3. To tie the second half knot, work in opposite directions of step (1) and (2). Going from right to left, bring the right most yarn over the anchor cords and under the left most yarns.

4. Moving back to the right, bring the left most yarnunder the anchor cords and through the loop formed by the right most cord. Pull on both ends to tighten knot. You will now get a square knot.
