Phildar phil corde (100% cotton in off white) (length depends your desired length of bookmark)

Half hitch knot
Instructions
Begin
Cut 6 pieces of yarn 5 times the length of your bookmark each. Leaving approximately 5cm[2”] of yarn, secure the yarns to a clipboard to begin knotting.
Continue
1st row: From right to left, tie a half hitch knot using the first 2 strands. Tie a second half hitch knot with the 2nd and 3rd strand. Continue tying 3 more half hitch knots to complete the row, always using a strand from the previous half hitch and the next strand.
2nd-3rd row: From right to left, tie 5 half hitch knots for each row.
4th row: From left to right, tie 5 half hitch knots leaving approximately 1.5cm[0.6"], 2cm[0.79"], 2.5cm[[0.98"] and 3cm[1.2"] gaps from the 3rd row of knots above for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th half hitch knots respectively.
5th-6th row: From left to right, tie 5half hitch knots for each row.
Continue this zig zag pattern until desired length.
End
Cut off the both ends neat and even to lengths of your preference.
