1. Insert the latch hook under and through a grid, ensuring that the mouth is entirely out of the grid.
2. Wrap the yarn around from under the base of the latch hook.
3. Making sure both sides of the yarns are of even length, place them inside the opening of the mouth.
4. Pull the latch hook down through the grid. When pulling the latch hook downwards, the mouth will lock in both ends of the yarn creating a loop.
5. Pull the yarn to tighten the loop.
