Round 2: K1, m1r, k to 1 st before marker, m1l, k1, SM, k1, m1r, k to 1 st before end, m1l, k1. 22 (22, 26, 26)sts.
Rep round 2 a further 4 times. 38 (38, 42, 42)sts.
Round 3: K all sts slipping marker as you go.
Rep rounds 2 & 3 a further 3 (4, 4, 5) times. 50 (54, 58, 62)sts.
Foot:

Round 1: SM, working from either Chart A or the written instructions, work 25 (27, 29, 31)sts from row 1, SM, k to end. Working the next row of Chart A or the written instructions each time, rep round 1 until your sock measures approx 4.5 (4.75, 5, 5.25) / 11.5cm (12.25, 12.75, 13.5) from the edge of your heel, ending on row 4 (2, 6, 4).
Gusset:
Round 1: SM, continue in set pattern for 25 (27, 29, 31)sts, SM, k1, M1R, k to 1st before end, M1L, k1. 52 (56, 60, 64)sts.
Round 2: Continue in set pattern for 25 (27, 29, 31)sts, SM, k to end. Rep rounds 1 & 2 a further 11(12, 13, 14) times. 74(80, 86, 92)sts.
Round 3: Continue in set pattern for 25 (27, 29, 31)sts, removing markers as you go and placing the sts just worked onto a stitch holder, scrap yarn, or leaving them on the needle without working them. You should have just worked row 4. The heel turn is worked flat over the centre 25(27, 29, 31)sts of the remaining 49(53, 57, 61)sts.
Heel Turn:
Row 1: K36 (39, 42, 45), turn.
Row 2: Slp 1, p22 (24, 26, 28), turn.

Closing gaps:
On right side:
K to 1st before gap, slp 1, pick up bar between sts front to back and slp onto the right needle, insert left needle into the front of the 2 sts and k together.
On wrong side:
P to 1st before gap, slp 1, pick up bar between sts back to front and slp onto right needle, insert left needle through back of the 2 sts and p together.
Heel Flap:
Row 1: Slp 1 wyib, (k1, slp1 wyib) 11 (12, 13, 14) times, k1, ssk, turn.
Row 2: Slp 1 wyif, p23 (25, 27, 29), p2tog, turn. Rep rows 1 & 2 until all gusset sts have been worked. 25 (27, 29, 31)sts.
Row 3: PM, slp 1, k24 (26 ,28, 30).
Leg:
Set up round: You should be on row 6. PM for beg of round, continue in patt to next marker, SM, p1, k4, p1 (2, 3, 4), PM, k1 tbl, p4, k3 tbl, p4, k1 tbl, PM, p1 (2, 3, 4), k4, p1.
You have now placed 4 markers, one to indicate the beginning of the round, one to show the divide between the front and back of leg, and two at the back leg to show where Chart B will be worked.
Round 1: SM, continue with row 1 of Chart A across next 25 (27, 29, 31)sts, SM, work first 6 (7, 8, 9)sts of Chart A row 1, SM, work row 1 of Chart B, SM, work last 6 (7, 8, 9)sts of Chart A row 1.
Working the next row of Charts A & B each time, rep round 1 until Chart B has been completed.
Cuff:
