Thin Leftover yarns (e.g. Biches & Bûches lambswool)
For most parts of the cushion use double threads, adding golden or silver strands in between threads

Crochet using single crochet stitch. Change color in the last pull of the previous stitch. As an example, if you crochet in white and want to continue in pink, crochet the last pull of the previous stitch in pink and continue in that color. 
 
BEGIN
Ch 50.
Follow the template for front-side in single crochet only.
When your front-side is finished insert 65 chains inside the row-side of your front-side (amount of rows and chains correspond).
Continue with your back-side template. The stitches of the design on each side will then point in different directions.

END
For the edges (3 sides left):
Work in sc around entire edge of throw. Attach with a sl st, * work 1 sc in each st, 2 sc in each corner, rep from * join with a sl st in 1st sc. Place pillow filling and close the top of the cushion the same way.
Fasten off, weave in loose ends.
