PATTERN NOTES
Pattern is divisible by 3 stitches+ 3, plus 1 for foundation chain. For a wider pillow, add more foundation ch stitches in multiples of 3 and rep pattern from *. Note that a bigger pillow will require more yarn.

Row 1: 1 hdc in 4th ch from hook, 1 ch, 1 hdc in next ch * miss 1 ch, 1 hdc in next ch, 1 ch, 1 hdc in next ch; rep from * until 2 ch left, miss 1 ch, 1 hdc in t-ch, turn.

Row 2: 2 ch, * miss next 2 hdc, (1 hdc, 1 ch, 1 hdc) in next 2hdc-sp; rep from* until last hdc, miss 1 hdc, 1 hdc in turning chain, turn.

Rep row 2, 32x.

Fasten off, weave in loose ends.

For the inner cushion, cut 2 pieces of bleached cotton of 50cm[19,7"]x 30cm[11,8"] + 1cm[0.4”] for the seam. Put the right sides together with pins. Sew 3 sides, but keep 1 side open. Turn the fabric and fill the cushion. Close the seam and sew by hand.

Then put the right sides of your crochet piece together with pins. Join both pieces by closing 3 sides with a backstitch, sewing along the edge with the Malabrigo yarn. Put in the inner cushion. Close last seam with small overcast stitches. Fasten off, weave in loose ends.
